Good morning caffeine

Mood: Uneasy

Don't you just hate the incessant thoughts running through your brain when all you want to do is sleep? No matter how hard I tried, I could not bring myself to fall asleep last night. I tried reading, watching television, taking a walk (up and down my stairs), but nothing seemed to work. Finally at 9:00 a.m. I gave up and went to make myself some breakfast. I sliced up some green apples, sprinkled some cinnamon on them, cooked them a little, and made myself some delectable oatmeal. There's nothing better than a hot bowl of oatmeal to start off your day. Now all I need is A LOT of caffeine!

Little Chicken; Whopping Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Mood: Content

After a long day of work, a walk was definitely refreshing. In the midst of our relaxing walk, we were almost victims of a drive-by smoothie. We got home safely however and managed to avoid the bears and alligators, although we did spot a man running with a squirrel (okay so maybe it was a really small dog).

Due to our budget we found a cheap, but worthy chicken. We decided to try something new and added  butter and rosemary (make sure you add fresh rosemary sprigs under the skin) to our usual recipe. It was delicious!

Now time for dessert. Oatmeal raisin cookies are just the cure for a "I'm in the mood to lay on the couch and be lazy night". We had to resort to buying a pre-made mix, but they'll be yummy nonetheless. Next time will be made from scratch.

Time to indulge. Have a nice night!

The first of many...

Hello all! This is our first post. Here are some things that you should know about us before reading our blog. We are three psychology majors attending school in southwest Florida. Living paycheck to paycheck is hard, but its part of the whole college experience!
Sidebar: Our friend Vince is throwing out suggestions for our new post (none have made the cut).
Our goal will be to learn about ourselves while incorporating our two obsessions psychology and food.

Welcome to our wonderfully whimsical world :)
